Very helpful in getting up off a couch
This works very well for anyone who has difficulty getting up from a seated position. It is pretty sturdy and the handle is cushioned and comfortable. The height is adjustable so you can set according to your needs. If you have any issues with mobility or balance, it is very nice to have something sturdy to hold onto as you get up.The only thing that’s a bit challenging is getting it set under the furniture. If you have heavy furniture, it can be a little difficult. Otherwise, this is a very handy tool!

Easy to assemble, heavy-duty construction to safely provide support.
Goes together easily, with the provided allen wrench. Good solution for providing a place to hold onto when getting up/down. That is especially true when getting up, because some people turn their hand over, knuckles down, and push up on the knuckles, or even worse, the back of the hand, putting unnatural stress on the wrist. With this device, one will automatically grip it and avoid damaging the wrist. Just be sure to anchor the base by putting it under the foot of the sofa/chair it is installed by.
