Great scooter/ ez assembly
I ordered this for my husband because he broke his ankle and with the cast and two bad shoulders, neither a knee cart or wheelchair were doable. My husband actually put the whole thing together himself! Given his conditions above, that means it’s a very well made machine and pretty easy to put together. It rides smoothly and maneuvers easily in our house. We haven’t taken it outside yet. My only issue is that there’s no way to quiet that loud beep. If there were a speaker we could cover it with tape. The noise it makes sounds exactly like a smoke detector, so it’s quiet startling and scares us as well as the cat. Customer service was quick to respond via chat. They told me we could follow a video they sent to disengage the wires. The downside being it wouldn’t beep for anything… meaning no low battery alert, no horn and would not warn us of other potential problems. Actually thinking of doing it. So despite the loud beep( turning it on, or forgetting to shut it off when idle) it is very nice. Well built, sturdy, easy assembly, simple to drive and has good turning radius. Glad we bought this one!

Very happy with this and so is my father in law
The wife’s dad isn’t getting around as well as he used to be and this scooter has offered him experiences that would have previously just had him sitting at home while the grandkids and his daughter are out on trips. The big name mobility scooters can be upwards of $5,000 and offer little more than this one does. Charging is easy, operation is simple, and this thing is probably even faster than it needs to be. We tested it out on my property going through a gravel driveway and up steeper inclines than a scooter like this should ever be used on and it didn’t miss a beat.So far this has been on multiple trips around the local zoo, multiple different local county fairs, and around town for some local events. Range was never a problem and although we have never run the thing long enough to hit the stated range, I have no doubts that a person of normal weight driving this on a flat surface on the slowest speed would meet the claimed maximum range. It might be a bit heavy for a disabled person to disassemble the scooter and pack it away in a car trunk, but my petite wife doesn’t have problems taking it down and fitting it in the back of a Mazda CX-5 with all the supplies for the kids as well. One last thing of note due to a recent frantic phone call on a zoo trip – if the scooter starts beeping like crazy while powered on and the charge was previously acceptable, make sure your lunch bag dangling off the arm rest didn’t knock the axle lock lever into the unlock position. The scooter will make all sorts of noise and result in a very worried phone call in the middle of the day.

Lightweight easy to maneuver
We had a GOGO scooter for 5 years. It was too heavy for my husband and I to put in our minivan as we have gotten older. So we bought this Vive Scooter. Its much lighter and has handles on both ends. It breaks down into manageable pieces. We can maneuver it in and out of the van without any problems. It goes nicely down the grocery stores and shopping centers isles. I’m on O2 so my husband bought a small magazine rack and he Bungi’d it to the back seat. I added my Portable Oxygen machine and we’re ready to go. The battery is lightweight and it can be lifted in and out of the van and hooked to the Vive easily. Thank you for making one that is so lightweight. It has a pretty long battery life too.

Itâs portable and easy to disassemble
The unit works well but it is a little cramped for me at only 5â5â. The front basket is too small for shopping. A rear basket accessory may not be feasible (I have not tried it yet).It separates for transporting. I will have to test that option.

Warranty is lousy
I purchased this mobility scooter in August 2023. Up until now it has been great, but if anything goes wrong after six months, you are on your own.The seat cushion unsnapped about two weeks ago, and no matter how hard I pull/tug and realign the cover I cannot get the snap together. Then 2 days ago, even though my battery indicator showed a full charge, on my way to the grocery store six blocks away, it died. I had to push it home. I put it on the charger and after 12 hours, it only indicated 2 green bars. I hopped on it to put it my garage, and it died again. I emailed Vive customer service since Amazon says to contact the seller. They got right back to me, which was impressive, only to find out my two issues are out of warranty and I would have to buy a new seat ($200) AND a new battery ($250). I’m 78 abd on a fixed income; $450 is a heck of a lot of money for something that cost $800 to begin with. Think long and hard about this purchase. Apparently I’m not the only one on here experiencing this same issue.

Zippy little scooter
Very comfortable, fast or slow, rides very well. Get price. Has given my aunt some extra freedom without having to worry about a fall while out and about.

Easy to use, definitely helps if you have problems with mobility
Our senior living maintenance man put the scooter together when it arrived so I can not comment on how easy/hard that was. Using the scooter has been simple for my husband. He was having trouble walking to the dining room in our senior living facility so we purchased this on a whim. We have not tried to disassemble it and take it in the car so I can not speak to how easy that is either. Within our facility building and out on the sidewalks in the area, the scooter allows my husband to get around and participate in activities that he used to avoid.

Perfect!
Exactly what my mom needed to get around at her retirement apartment! It was easy to assemble & is sturdy. She loves the basket for her purse & getting the mail. She also likes the horn 😉

I was at first very pleased on receipt of this scooter. I had used it every day since march. Imagine my horror when I switched it on in the bathroom to find it completely dead. I managed to get back to my room and get onto my spare one, but as an OAP and completely iMobile I was frightened.I contacted Vive who replied very quickly telling me what to do, by pressing a reset button.but I’m reluctant to use it Incase it happens again. I don’t know what the answer is. But be aware of this happening if you purchase one.Over all before this happened I was very pleased with it , it is a good looking machine and seemed to work well.
