Perfect Ramp for Large Dogs—Sturdy, Safe, and Easy to Use!
I recently purchased this dog ramp, which has been a game-changer for us! The 63″ length and 17″ width make it perfect for our large dog to comfortably get in and out of our SUV without any issues. The non-slip rug surface is fantastic—it gives our dog a secure grip, even when wet outside. The ramp is sturdy and easily supports our big pup, who weighs over 100 pounds. It’s also lightweight and folds up nicely, making it easy to store and carry. I highly recommend this ramp for anyone with a medium or large dog; it’s well-made and worth every penny!

    Sturdy, yet heavy.
I love this because it’s so sturdy and my dog doesn’t feel scared to go up or down it. However, it is a bit heavy for me. I’m a petite woman. But, if it wasn’t heavy it probably wouldn’t be so sturdy. So, I’ll deal with it being a little heavy. I’ve learned to lay it face down on the pavement and open it up, then turn it over and put it on the door frame. Just be careful not to get your fingers caught in the fold b/c you can pinch them!

    The dogs use it!!!
Oh my god, dog ramps/stairs…I got an honorary PhD in this subject. First.. Ramps vs steps/stairs. Seems some dogs prefer one vs the other. We have two big dogs (one way over 100lbs) and from reviews I read and people I talked to.. ramps require less training/acclimation and are easier for big dogs to master. I’m now very glad we made this decision. This ramp is super sturdy – I weigh 180lbs and it supports me with no problem. We’re using this in a Jeep Gladiator pickup (because the back doors are really narrow) and it works good… But we’re placing it on the running boards – don’t think it would fit in the doorway. We like how it quickly/easily folds up (into four folds) and stows on the back seat floor. It takes literally seconds to deploy. The only caution/warning I would give is there are plastic/rubber feet on each end..but they are different – one end is designed to be on the ground, the other is designed to be up on the running boards / doorway. Don’t mix them up. We did this once or twice early on and the stairs fell off the running boards and scared the dogs. We learned our lesson and this has never happened again. (The dogs regained their confidence and use the ramp without hesitation). I highly recommend you find what works for you to prevent injury to your dog trying to get in/out of the back of your car/truck. This ramp makes it a breeze for our dogs to get in and out now.

    So helpful!
I recently purchased this dog ramp to help my large German Shepherd get in and out of the car, and it has been a total game-changer! My dog was starting to struggle with jumping into the car due to his size and age, so I knew we needed a solution to make it easier on him (and us!).The ramp is sturdy, yet lightweight enough to easily fold and store in the trunk. The non-slip surface gives my dog great traction, and it feels very stable when he walks up and down it—no wobbling or slipping! I also appreciate that it’s long enough to provide a gentle incline, which is much easier on his joints.Overall, this ramp has made car rides so much easier and less stressful for both of us. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and durable ramp to help their dog get in and out of the car safely!

The ramp is fine, but my dog won’t use it
I can coax my dog up into our camper van with treats, but he always jumps down to leave, which is bad for his joints. The ramp is well-made, non-slippery, and otherwise perfect. Be aware that it is a little heavy and hard to store in a smallish camper van.

Not for tall vehicles, rubber feet are small
We have a Chevy Traverse and I got this to get our dogs into the back without them trying to jump up and hurt themselves or us trying to lift them. The rubber feet are just about an inch or two long and barely do anything to hold the ramp on the bumper. My vehicle is too high for this and makes the ramp at a sharp angle. There is a carabiner on the one end to connect to the bottom base latch the lift gate connects to but the little rubber feet just slip off the bumper as soon as the dogs put any weight on it. Because of the metal sides, I’m worried at the angle I have to have it at it will scrape my paint. I had to hold onto it keep it from sliding off the bumper at the high angle. Now if you have a van or lower SUV, it may work for you. It is very sturdy for my dogs to walk up with the metal frame and doesn’t bend easily. It folds up easily, is a bit heavy and I had a little issue using the snap to get it connected once folded. I might put a rubber spray on the metal sides later. I feel like it should have handles on the side to pick it up, otherwise it’s like a square brick. The carpet on it is standard low pile carpet, easy traction on the dog’s feet. I actually never trained my dogs on a ramp so I dragged treats up it and our lab walked right up it, the Aussie wanted to jump but decided the treats were the better route. So the reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the small feet, slips easy, not for high SUVs.

    Perfect for our Dog!
Our golden retriever weighs 120lbs and is afraid to jump up into the truck or ATV. Lifting her up is brutal. This ramp is perfect for her. She can easily get into the vehicle so I no longer have to try to lift a dog that weighs only 18 lbs. less than I do. I love the fact that it has handles and easily folds up flat so it fits nicely on the floor or trunk of any vehicle. It is sturdy and very well made. I would highly recommend it for anyone who has a dog that needs help getting into a vehicle or even going up a short set of stairs.
