Does what it needs to do.
It made it from Texas to Connecticut, with a couple of out-of-the-way side trips. It fit two suitcases and a lot of shopping bags full of stuff. It rained a couple of the days (light rain) and it kept our stuff nice and dry.It installed really easy and was very sturdy once installed. There was room behind the bag for other, less important things that could get wet. The net and hooks kept everything secure.All in all, for the price I think it’s a good deal!

Great expandable/adjustable roof rack at very good price
I bought this in the middle of summer for a road trip from coastal California to Austin Texas and back, with detours through parts of New Mexico and back into Arizona. I have not taken it off since. Assembly was very easy to do by myself on an elevated workbench and the install was easy as well. I coupled this with a L51â x W41â x H18â rooftop carrier bag. The rack took 2 suitcases, and XXL dog crate and several other bags (within the carrier bag) with no issues for a 3200+ mile road trip and is still solid as ever. It has since been used on several camping and family trips and has found a permanent place on the roof, I originally intended to use it only when necessary but it has a great look in addition to its utility. I would definitely recommend this as an inexpensive and solid option to the name brands.

Good Enough, Budget Priced Roof Rack
The not so great up front. If the cross bars on your vehicle are not adjustable you may have some issues. The cross bars on my 2019 Toyota Highlander are fixed and measure about 25″ apart. Where the brackets are in the pictures are the only sections that line up properly. Each of the big gaps are about 5.5″ and don’t accept the brackets. For me this means the last section of the rack will be unsupported. I plan to put all my heavier stuff up front, we’ll see how that goes.I was looking for a roof rack that was a little bigger than the typical 30×40″ racks. It went together very easy and the three sections feel very secure together. The bracket is hard plastic so I plan on putting some foam between that and my cross bars before cranking them down. It will only be used occasionally, taken off and stored between trip. Not sure how it will hold up being out in the elements long term.As a budget-priced rack (compared to Rhino and Thule at least). It should be a good option. After I’ve taken it out a few times I’ll update my review.

Affordable roof rack
Great price and quality. I did spray the metal with anti rust since I knew I wasnât going to remove it and Iâm glad I did. It still looks brand new and itâs come in handy for road trips. It took a little while to get it set up on the roof of my 4Runner but once on, it looked great. I highly recommend having a friend help on roof installation.

Perfect size for my application
I bought this to use on the above the bed cross bars for my 2021 ram 1500 with adarac cross bars. This narrow basket allows me to also us a Thule cargo carrier at the same time with room to spare. My 45 quart pelican cooler and a 27 gallon tote from home depot fit in the basket perfectly.

Heavy and Rusty!
I purchased this basket for my 2014 Subaru Forester. The full basket configuration was too long and obscured my sunroof so I opted for the half basket setting.Assembly was somewhat straight forward- the basket was easy enough to put together.Installing the basket was another thing, though it’s only half a basket- it was more difficult to install than other full size baskets. It’s heavy for what it is.The basket has held up to California’s more recent rainy season….however has already begun leaking. I will be getting rid of mine soon enough, I would not recommend this model unless you figure out how to weather proof it better.The actual build quality of the item is a bit on the lower end. There are some areas where the welds have holes. The powder coating has held up, but the leaking rust is apparent on my black car.
