Works for frame of 1 inch. My sliding glass door is one inch high on the inside and 1.5 inches on the balcony side. I had to buy a Silver Spring Solid Rubber Threshold Ramp – 1-1/2″ Rise for the outside. The combination of these two items works perfectly. My sliders are safe from being crushed or broken.

Light weight, easily moved
I purchased this to cover the sliding glass and screen door exit from my sun room to the outdoor deck. My motorized wheelchair was unable to go through the opening because I didn’t want to bend the runners and totallyMess up the operation of the doors.This was the perfect solution. It’s aluminum (so light weight) and has the non slip surface so my tires grip it with no problem, I can lift the ramp with one hand ( great since I just had a shoulder replacement on the right side) And it was the perfect width to safely cover the runners for the two doors.I’m very satisfied!

Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get it to fit where I needed it. Nonetheless, I must say I’m very impressed with the build quality of this thing. I’m not returning it because it was clearly my fault for ordering something that it can’t be used on the oddly shaped place I needed it. I’m sure I will repurpose it someday because this thing is definitely made of some quality material.

Stong enough for a Power Wheelchair
This ramp works great over our sliding glass door threshold. Our daughter had a hard time getting her front wheels over the threshold and her rear wheels would spin and mess up our throw rug. This ramp is perfect for a smooth up and over the threshold. Note that you have to pick it up and remove it when you need to close the door, but if it is not needed all the time, it is a perfect solution.

Good concept, not good execution
Bought this to smooth an uneven gap between two rooms that must be crossed with a power wheelchair. It covered the area nicely , but couldn’t be secured to the floor. It moved out of place when I tried to cross the threshold in my chair. Had to be returned .

Very hard to remove support vanes. I needed wider threshold space but the screws in the vanes are extremely hard to remove.

Big disappointment- does not fit over a exterior door threshold… it’s about 1” short. Don’t guess there was any R&D.. don’t waste your money.

Heavy and Nice Ramp
Although it didn’t fit our door and wouldn’t work for us it is a well-made ramp. The review I had previously written was not meant for this ramp. I apologize for the mistake the seller and Amazon for this. I have had to order numerous medical supplies and was getting them confused. I would recommend this ramp for anyone that fits their needs.
