    Increased max weight and great muscle isolation
    I’ve been weightlifting for over 30 years and just recently started using these weightlifting hooks for back days. These things really work well and allow you to increase your max weight and really isolate the muscle as you are not expending lots of energy trying to grip and support the weight with your hands and forearms. Since I started using these hooks my back and Lat muscles are getting a much better workout as I am able to lift significantly more weight than without them. The wrist wraps appear to be well made and they are not too uncomfortable to wear even when working out for almost 90 minutes. If you have never used hooks like these you should give them a try and you’ll be amazed at how much heavier you can lift when you are relieving some of the stress from your hands and forearms and isolating on your back muscles fully.

    Have recently used a weight belt from Breaking Limits and remembered simple effective design with one size fit all and fairly decent quality . These Lifting Hooks from same brand for Weight Lifting follow same theme of design simplicity and quality.Had nylon belt and velcro to tighten around wrist with neoprene for comfort . Hook itself is metal dipped in rubber/plastic kind of coating to keep your barbell safe and its rated for 700 lbs.Tried for rowing around 120 lbs weight and felt good , since its rigid metal , it only works for straight bar so had to switch plates from ez curl bar. Must admit it had some learning curve for me as I never used hooks before so I am used to gripping bar tight. It felt more natural while shrugs as it only engaged traps since I am unable to grip bar thats by design. :-).Interesting product and 100% value for such a reasonable price point. Must try !

    Solid! Lift Heavy with Confidence
    I’m impressed with how solid these wrist hooks are. The wrist straps wrap around securely and snugly. The hooks go around the barbell well and the width of the hooks are comfortable in my hands. There are a few schools of thought around grips for deadlifting… I work on bare hand grip when possible, but it’s nice to have these on those occasions when even alternating grips won’t hold. 5/5 stars.

    So worth the investment. My workouts are 10x better now that my failing grip strength isnt limiting my lifts. Definitely recommend. I use them every arms day without fail. Good quality materials too and the bend in the hook is just right so even dumbbells don’t slip out of them and you can do rows, lat pulldowns everything. Highly highly recommend.
