What is a Large Base Quad Cane?
A large base quad cane is a walking aid with four sturdy legs at the bottom, providing a broader base of support. Unlike single-tip canes, this design significantly reduces the risk of slipping and enhances weight distribution.

To maximize safety and comfort, follow these guidelines:
- Adjust the Cane Height: Ensure it aligns with the wrist when standing upright.

This quad cane is very sturdy. The physical therapist said it was more heavy duty than the ones they have at their facility. They were very impressed!

Shorter than expected but very sturdy for shorter people
I’m 6 foot 3 inches tall and it’s a bit short, I Hunch little bit so I can make it work for me, but if you’re tall I would avoid these, I bought two of them to get around my apartment/living area when I’m not using my walker or wheelchair, my regular bariatric canes are a good 3 inches taller on the highest setting so if your are under 6 foot these will probably be great, over 6 foot you might have some difficulty.. it is a little shorter than the advertised length at maximum highest setting, but these very sturdy, anyone under 6 foot it would be a very good option, and I would recommend it.

Perfect For Recovered Stroke Victim
It is heavy weight, up to 500 lbs, (although he is no where near that weight) so I knew my husband would be confident in learning how to use it after using a Hemi walker for two years. The base is solid and large, that’s what he needed. Great product!

Great cane — heavy-duty (and heavier weight) as advertised
A great-quality cane as long as you understand that the base is pretty large and heavy. I got this for my mother, thinking larger and heavier-duty meant better quality and more sturdy for her. Her physical therapist actually told me to return it and get the smaller, lighter kind because this one was harder for her to deal with. So for my mother it wasn’t the right type, but it’s a very nice cane. It was delivered quickly and the return handled easily. Great transaction. For the replacement cane, I got the same type of cane in the smaller size, made by the same company, from the same seller, and it has been perfect.

It is ok but not as advertised
Second one I have bought, this says heavy duty but not nearly as heavy duty as my previous one. Handle is hard plastic, not soft foam

I’m near the weight limit for smaller canes and I’m very active – I appreciated the sturdyness and solidity of this cane. The small base means it’s useable to help me get down stairs, which is essential.
