    Does what its supposed to.
I have a dodgy knee so a standard inversion table often does me more harm than good and I needed an alternative to decompress lower lumbar nerve impingement. While I agree with other users, that when in pain already, getting onto a floor device is difficult, but that simply is what it is, its a floor device. If you’re unable to get on the floor, its not the right device for you. Very much like an inversion table, you don’t feel relief immediately when you get out/up/off, but within a few minutes after using, as gravity catches up with you, you can feel things go back into the right place. Also as with inversion, it may take a few “applications” to get it right. IMO the device works quite nice as an alternative to a true inversion table and on-floor traction is very beneficial. The device is VERY affordably priced, its pretty easy to assemble and is quite durable. I do wish it had more of a skate wheel assembly for the extension and that the “crank” was farther down the unit, but otherwise its been a solid addition to my at-home back therapy.

    Worth the $$!
I never write reviews, but have to say I’m really impressed by this device! I have some bulging/herniated discs in my lower back that cause a lot of pain for me on a regular basis, especially with extended sitting. Spinal decompression was recommended by a doctor I saw, but they wanted to charge me 6 grand for 24 sessions with new computerized machine for decompression (forget the name) I would love to do that treatment, but can’t fathom spending that amount of money without knowing whether it will permanently solve my pain pain issues. I went home and did some research into home decompression tables, but I dislike hanging upside down. I found this one and ta da! It works pretty well for the price! I usually use it for about 15 mins every couple of days, and it provides a pretty strong stretch. The only drawback are 1) my arms do get a little uncomfortable after a while, and 2) it is a little wobbly. It’s not as fancy as a computerized decompression machine, but it relieves my pain quite a bit and am hoping it will help more permanently heal my back with continued use. To me very worth the price! It does make my back a little achy during the treatment, so I suggest working up to a stronger stretch gradually, and getting up off it slowly and letting your body adjust after a session, but within 20 mins or so I get wonderful relief!

    awesome
i have lower back pain and this is an amazing table! short and easy time spent putting it together…takes a little bit to actually get it setup as far as where your body, arms and feet need to be..once you figure that out..this works. saved me chiropractic bills

  4. NC Man

    Well built. Poorly designed.
CONS: this device is heavy, cumbersome to move, difficult to use and, because of its design, doesn’t provide much focused traction on the lower back. The design has two fixed points, the ankles and the armpits. The traction movement pulls on the ankles, not directly on the spine. The armpit fixed point is a problem because the user must turn a small wheel that activates a gear mechanism to stretch out the legs. Because of the angles when laying on the table, I found it almost impossible to activate the mechanism while the feet and armpits were locked in place. As a result, I got very little traction effect. In addition, on a thin carpet, body weight made it almost impossible to turn the wheel that activates the outward stretching movement.PROS: for the price it appeared to be reasonably well made. I did not find it difficult to assemble. The review title sums it up for me. Well built. Poorly designed.

Assembles OK. Works, but slightly awkward to use.
Delivery was just under 1 week. Box arrived with slightly crushed corners and inside foam cracked. But no damage to parts.Approx 1/2 dozen discrete parts. Simple assembly using included hex bolts. Instructions are to also apply supplied grease. You only need a dab… no where near the amount provided.Using is a bit awkward. Provided crank wheel is positioned to close to head/shoulder to easily turn with handle. You can alternate grabbing edge of wheel to turn. Positioned another 2-3 inches farther down would make a big difference. Another change would be to increase the diameter of the wheel itself by 2-3 inches. This would require raising the height to accomodate the increased diameter.Crank the wheel to expand the table (stretch). Total of 30 turns which equates to approx 4 inches of travel. Table cushioning is minimal and some may find the surface too hard. This can be used on carpet, but a hard floor surface is probably better.Took a bit of fiddling to adjust settings right for stretch. The wheel crank design allows for control stretch and release (a big plus). Can feel the pull in knees. May need to figure out how a DIY hip harness. Construction tolerance is a bit off and some concern the setting slide bolt may slip release with repeated use. You can also feel this when operating the screw mechanism… which looks adequate, but looks to be bare minimum metal quality.Works OK enough given the price point. It only has to last 2 to 3 years to be worth it. Anything beyond that would be above expectations.

I have siatica and pain in my right leg, normally, I am paying 55 $ for physiotherapy two times every week and because of the the high cost , I decided to get this machine. The device is safe and once you assemble all the parts, then you can lay down and start using it.I can say that it is better than the device in the clinic because this machine will provide straight and 0 degree angle with your body. The machine in the clinic usually pull you with 45 degree wich is not surfing the purpose. You need to stretch yourself for 10 to 15 seconds and relax for 15 to 20 seconds, you can repeat this for 7 to 10 times . Also you can cold blanket or wrap on your back after the exercise . . I will help to reduce the pain. I reached a limit when I was thinking to do a surgery but now I feel more butter
