    Love it
Both my husband and I have taken some falls over the past couple of years but and needed help getting up. I saw this and think it is cheaper than calling an aide car and less embarrassing. We haven’t needed it yet but we tried it out and it’s perfect! It fits nicely in a closet, it is heavy duty but even I can pull it around ( I am pretty arthritic especially my hands). It is very stable for larger people. I like the fact that it has a downward slope on the front edge so there is no need to have to lift a person even a little bit.It gives me greater peace of mind knowing we have it.

    Works very well
This device works as an aid to someone who is in need of assistance standing. The unit is small and east to maneuver from room to room. Well designed for it’s intended use.

Indeed – must have ability to get persons butt 1” days off the floor
Once on the device works well. But as my parents have reported , if you cannot get the person up and onto the plate , which may be problematic depending on the space available such as near a toilet or bathroom , that can cause issues if the person cannot push themselves into the device.

Great product which we needed badly
Amazingly well built. Without the arms, the PPU fits thru surprisingly small spaces. The arms are easy to remove and replace, and even with the arms in, the PPU is not too wide. But the seat does seems wide enough to accommodate people in the weight range. Just what we needed.. We intend it for assisted use, but I can see how many people could use it by themselves. Note: the PPU is not lightweight and is somewhat difficult to roll on the rug, but we followed the suggestion in the instructions to lift the seat a bit; it works for us. Arrived early, well packaged in a box that was easy to dissassemble. Idiot-proof minor assembly required.

    Changed my life
I love the indee lift. I can take it on vacations, gets me up from low toilets or the floor with absolute ease. This product is very sturdy and takes me to a full standing from floor.

Not a good lift for my needs
I was hoping to be able to use this lift to get back into my electric wheelchair. I have MS, and I am usually able to briefly bear weight on my legs. I often fall while making transfers. I only weigh 125 pounds, so it is easy for one young adult to pick me up. However, the person who is most available to pick me up is 75 years old. This is not a lift that you can use by yourself. The surface of the lift is very slippery. Even with full assistance, I struggled to get into a seated position on this lift. The right angle between the back of the lift also made it very difficult. I think it took us at least an hour to get me onto it. When the lift was raised it was very scary to make the transfer from the lift to the wheelchair because it was very hard to get the wheelchair perfectly close to the lift as to not have a gap between the two. My three times of using the lift were downright traumatic. I think this lift would be most useful for people who are very mobile, but don’t have the strength to get up off the ground. If you need a lift to transfer into a wheelchair, this is not for you. I suspect that if you are ambulatory but have difficulty getting off the ground, a cheaper lift would work just as well for you. Regardless of your circumstances, make sure you keep all of the packaging. I was so hopeful that it was going to work for me that I recycled the packaging. UPS charged me over $100 just to repackage it.

    Awesome lift.
The IndeeLift is an awesome piece of engineering. I am an elderly female, but with a box cutter and the right Phillips screwdriver, assembled the few pieces (by myself) very quickly. First of all, the box was designed so that after the loose pieces were removed, the lift could be lowered onto the front piece of the box and the wheels could be attached with the included hex. Once assembled, it is very easy to wheel around and fits through narrow spaces. Not all falls are in open spaces, so this thing is great. Best of all, it will raise and lower to different levels for different assists. Good job, IndeeLift!

For people that have difficulty getting up after a fall
I am in a wheelchair and can no longer get back into my chair if I slide out of it. I bought the IndeeLift that goes up past the seat height of my wheelchair so that I can do a board transfer back down to my bed or my wheelchair. Gravity helps any transfer. This device is also a big help for anyone who is disabled or has lost strength and needs to be lifted from the floor. Watch the videos that they provide to see if it will work for your needs. It will prevent calls to 911 when you simply need help and have not been injured. It is easily operated and works just as the film shows. I have not needed to use mine yet, but my adult daughter has lifted herself with it. It can also be helpful to those who use motorized scooters to get around. It is sort of like a dolly for people and can be used almost anywhere if there is someone around to roll it to you. I am keeping mine charged just in case!
