Our dogs absolutely love this, we initially bought some portable stairs but you canât change the incline on stairs so we found this. Itâs perfect and has just the right amount of traction for their paws. It took them a few hours to get used to it but now they love it. One of my dogs actually snuggles in the crook sometimes.

Good ramp. Takes some training time, persistence and treats!
I have an 12 yr old, Pointer, @ 70lbs.. He was easily jumping in the car, until recently. Now, he needs assistance. The ramp will be a good alternative. We started low, with a leash, on 2 front porch steps, with treats , and lots of praise, to encourage him. Also, I put a 5′ rubber shelf liner ($tree has it), on the ramp, for more traction. It sticks well, without any attachments, and will probably not need this, once he feels confident on the ramp. He has gotten in the car on the lower levels, and with more training and patience, from me, he’ll most likely get to the high level. So, if your dog doesn’t take to it right away, be calm, persistent, start at lower levels, and use treats, and praise, ONLY when pooch performs. It’s sturdy, and easily folds, to fit in the back of a Kia Soul.

My girlfriends 120 lb Newfoundland dog had no trouble at all scampering up the ramp into her van. I like that there’s a convenient hook to hold the folded ramp halves together for storage, and a fixture at the top to let us use a strap to secure it inside the vehicle before letting the dog climb aboard. Looks like the ramp will hold up well, as it’s sturdy and well-constructed.

Was worried that the ramp was kind of cheesy due to its lightweight, however it works greatâ¦..We have 3 dogs that all weigh 75-80 #âs & it handles them easilyâ¦.It folds up easily & fits in the back of my Jeep with no hassleâ¦â¦Would say this ramp due to its shorter length is great for SUVâs , Crossovers , Sedans â¦..Full size pickups or similar , I think you would need a longer ramp because of the added height
