Perfect storage
Quality product, easy to install. Put mine in the corner of ceiling so I only needed to locate one joist, others attached to the top of the wall frame. Filled with more than recommended with no flex. Achieved goal, get stuff off the floor. Worked perfectly and much cheaper than a new storage building.

Helped to organize my garage. These shelves hold a lot of stuff. Nice heavy duty shelves. Installation was as to be expected. If you are installing near a wall and want to use the extra storage hooks put them on the base frame before you bolt base frame to the horizontal braces. My wall ended up being too close for me to add the hooks after base frame was bolted to horizontal braces. I would recommend these shelves to anyone looking for this type of set up. Good price, good looking, good quality.

Seems Sturdy and Installs Well
As others have noted, this rack is delivered in two packages, which may or may not arrive on the same day.I installed it by myself without too much difficulty. The biggest challenge is figuring out where to install it, taking in to account the ceiling joists. The instructions are better than I expected they would be. Be aware of your ceiling joist spacing before you select a size rack to order. The rack is rated for 600 lbs, but in my case, probably the strength of the garage ceiling joists are the more limiting factor.

Okay product
This set is easier to install than other similar on the market, but it is still not as easy as expected. I have to install extra wood beam pieces first on the ceiling before I install this set , because the edge of my ceiling has no studs, and I want the racks to be next to the garage wall. Just following the instruction, I will have to install the racks 14 inches away from the side wall. Overall, it is a okay product.

Frees up the floor space
Well built and says it will hold 600 lbs. I would still put the extra heavy items on the ends and the lighter ones in the middle. I have it in the garage and it’s great that you can also raise and lower it to the height you need. I have it about 4 or 5 inch’s above my head and it fits over the vehicles fine.I seem to be a hoarder and I got tired of wading thru all my stuff. Opened up the garage floor nicely. I put one in our large shed and helped out quite a bit moving the seldom used items off the floor.

These racks are everything!!
Bought two of the 8×4 overhead racks to mount over the garage door to gain some much needed storage. These racks are amazing! The build quality is top-notch and they are very sturdy.It took me about 3 hours to install the first one and 2 hours or so for the second one. The instructions are some of the best I have seen and were easy to follow and left no questions. I installed them by myself with no problems. Just take your time, measure and plan carefully and follow the instructions and you will have no difficulty. I suspect anyone who had any trouble installing these did not read the instructions. Also, if installing over a garage door like I did, make sure to check for proper clearance for the door; not just when it’s open, but while in operation as well, as it requires additional clearance when making the initial turn. I ended up putting ours about 4′ back from the front wall to allow for this and everything worked out perfectly.I could not be happier with this purchase. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for and I don’t I could have built anything like this myself for less (nor would I have wanted to try.)Great product and company. I highly recommend these to anyone who needs overhead storage.
