It is easy to install and very sturdy.
It took a little thinking about how I was going to anchor the ramp to brick steps, but Figured it out with a few adoptive 2′ x 4″ anchors. In addition, I anchored and gave it additional support at the mid point because my wife is worth the extra effort and support.I spent about 3 hours of working time on the project, because I had to work alone and needed to separate each ramp from the other and take it into the garage They were too heavy for the 72 YO man to carry alone. Two people should be able to carry them with ease. Most of the other time was burned up on finding my saw, my drill, my drill bits, and screws….oh and working!It does what it is supposed to do and easily climbs the 3 steps up (about 19-3/4″) to my home level.And, it was MADE IN AMERICA!

Quality products!
They do exactly what I wanted, which is to move power wheelchair to the suv. The only issue is they are too heavy, I separated them to carry in and out, and leave them separated when in use. They work fine.

Pricey, but very sturdy
I purchased this 7 foot folding ramp as well as a Chinese adjustable ramp of the same length. This is more expensive and very heavy. The China one was lighter and cheaper. This ramp is very well built, does not bend like the China ramp and is actually slightly shorter folded than the China adjustable ramp. This would (and can be) used as a semi-permanent installation given its weight and great construction, but as delivered it would be a tough job for a caregiver to carry as a single piece. However, they provide pins you can use to replace two bolts that hold it together. This allows it to be split into two ramps for carrying, which makes the system light enough to manage. I like being able to use it as two separate ramps, if necessary, but also pin it together as one without a lot of effort using the pins provided . The China ramp does not allow that, which I consider a safety issue if you are not careful.The price is significantly higher, but the quality is much higher as well. It is made in the USA.The one disappointment is they use industrial grade hook and loop material tacked on the ramp to keep it from flopping around while carrying. These do not work and seem like an afterthought to what is otherwise a well designed, quality built product. I bought some straps elsewhere to keep the ramp secure while carrying it as two pieces. That cost a star.As for the China ramp. it’s not a loss for me since it can be used for other applications I have. It is adjustable, which this ramp is not. Once open, you get 7 feet. For most applications that is what you want.Oh, and I can see this a being useful for other applications besides wheel chairs. This is mover quality equipment, that would probably last you a lifetime.

Best Portable Ramp !
After trying many different portable ramps to load my Jazzy 614 power chair EASILE into my 2006 Honda Odessay Van, I came upon the EZ Access Tri-Fold ramp. The quality is way beyond expectation’s. I’m a stought 400#, and the power chair is 185#, yet the EZ Access Tri-Fold handles us easily. The ramp is an 8 ft. Rated to 800# and I believe that it will certainly handle that load. The fact that it is a Tri-Fold is what I wanted, as I drop the back back seats down into their hidden storage and then the floor is flat. The rear seats & front seats can still be used for people after the power chair is loaded in & the ramp is folded up and slid in next to the power chair. I then ride in the solid back seat myself or drive the vehicle. The ramps can easily be taken apart and carried by my Wife separately, as each folded set weighs about 25# each. Or they can be Tri-Folded and a man can carry all parts together weighing about 50# total. The built in handles make carrying the ramp a snap. Everything is aluminum so nothing to rust….EVER!! This ramp is NO CHEEP CRAP! Impressive quality in my book. With the eight foot length the incline Angle is only 14 Degrees off theVan. I really appreciate the raised edges too. No worry of falling off the ramp. I also like the non-slip treads on the surface which is a real plus if you ever tried a ramp without them! I can easily use the Tri-Fold away from the van as well. I can easily use the ramp to get the the power chair up the four steps into the house for those HARSH Michigan Winters. Yes, this is a quality piece of equipment for sure. I LOVE it !! Very impressed with the quality
First let me say I bought the 10ft. Ramp. It is heavy but I knew it would be. When both halves are connected it weighs approximately 65lbs. But the ramp was designed to be split in half which makes it much easier to handle. I am impressed at how well the halves fit together making it easy to reconnect them before using it.I don’t know that we will need to do this but splitting it in half would make it possible to transport it to your destination if needed.The top of the ramp has a fixed connector that rests on the edge of our porch where we are using it. The bottom has a movable connector that transitions to the walk on the bottom. This makes for a smooth wheelchair ride onto and off of the ramp.Overall I am very happy with this ramp and recommend it.

The seller and Amazon pointed the finger at each other for adding GST when it should not have been added. Then they stopped pointing the finger and just ignored my complaint with no resolution.The ramp works as expected just not happy with either Amazon’s or Spreetail’s customer service.
